Frodo is an award-winning Producer and Director with over 15 years of experience working in theatre, circus, cabaret, and comedy in the UK, Europe, The USA, and Australia.
As a Festivals & Events Manager, he has led projects all over the world from intimate cabarets and boutique performances to touring theatre, nightclubs, awards ceremonies, charity spectaculars, and corporate events. He is General Manager of The Kelburn Garden Party, the UK's best small music and arts festival which hosts 6000 attendees every July at an historic estate on the West Coast of Scotland.
Frodo is also an established performer and compère with over 20 years experience as an actor and singer in musical theatre, various bands, and touring shows.

Overseeing the delivery of an annual 4-day music festival with a 6,000 capacity. Managing and hiring all staff and contractors involved in delivering the festival. Contract negotiation and financial management of the company’s annual £500k budget. Licensing and H&S compliance.

Frodo has been producing Theatre, Circus, Cabaret, and Comedy under the brand, Rhymes with Purple since 2005. Most of the work has been presented at The Edinburgh Festival Fringe but he has been lucky enough to present shows at the Adelaide Fringe and Brighton Fringe and productions in New York, London, Melbourne, and Prague.

Developed and pitched a multimillion-dollar scare attraction project to 20th Century Fox. Created five-year financial projections. Compiled all staffing and operations procedures. Developed initial marketing and promotional material. Created and delivered weekly reports for investors and related agents.

Producer/Director - The Cabaret Tent
Created a dedicated cabaret tent and associated programme of cabaret, comedy, and variety for Scotland’s largest music festival. Managed and liaised with all suppliers including hiring all staff, crew, volunteers, and performers.
2009 - 2012
THE GLASGOW CABARET FESTIVAL
Created the concept and delivered a brand-new festival event in Glasgow. Responsible for budgeting and successfully ensured that the festival came in under budget in every year. Created several new temporary venues for the duration of the festival including managing all staffing, Health and Safety considerations, licensing where appropriate, assessing and ordering in any technical requirements and setting up box office facilities.
