ABOUT

Frodo is an award-winning Producer, Playwright, and Director. He has over 20 years of experience working across many genres both in the UK and internationally.

 

As a Festivals & Events Manager, he has led projects all over the world from intimate cabarets to massive festivals. He has produced touring theatre, nightclubs, awards ceremonies, charity spectaculars, and corporate events. For 3 years, he programmed and managed The Cabaret Tent for Scotland's largest music festival, T in the Park and was General Manager of Scotland's best small music festval, The Kelburn Garden Party for 5 years. He co-directed Fire & Light 2020, a night walk for 10,000 attendees at The Helix and has created a range of outdoor, interactive events for both family and adult audiences.

He is also an experienced performer and compère with a critically-acclaimed career as an actor and singer in musical theatre and various bands, as well as a long and varied resume in circus and comedy.

​

As an established playwright, Frodo has written and co-written several plays and is currently creating abridged adaptations of the works of Shakespeare as part of his Bard Abridged series which are availble on Amazon.

​

As a person with a 'hidden' disability, Frodo champions inclusivity and access to all aspects of the Arts in his projects and is always delighted to work with LGBTQIA+ artsts and those who may face barriers to participation in the arts due to cultural background, race, or physical ability.
