Biography
Described by Time Out London as “The Godfather of Scottish cabaret”, Rufus Allan has appeared in plays, musicals, and revues all over the world.
As a Compère, Master of Ceremonies, and even Circus Ringmaster, Rufus has hosted everything from intimate cabarets and parties to theatrical variety shows, nightclubs, comedy clubs, awards ceremonies, Big Top shows, charity spectaculars, and high-profiile corporate events.
With over 20 years experience as a performer, Rufus has perfected his skills working in theatres across the UK and internationally and in TV, film and voiceover work.
Rufus has been privileged to perform in the West End of London as well as in touring musicals and pantomime, on cruise ships for P&O, summer seasons in the UK and Spain, and with several touring tribute and musical revue shows.
Rufus is also the funnier half of comedy double act, Rufus & Ben and the less sexy half of Rufus & Vendetta's Never Have I Ever...
